What Are Renewable Power Sources?
Renewable power sources are power sources that we can keep using for generations to come. They come in many forms such as solar power, which is done by converting sunlight to electricity, wind power, which is using the wind to push blades and converting it to power, and water power is the use of rivers currents to push blades, which they convert into power. You can learn more about how these work, when they were invented, and how they are used on the following website.
Positive And Negative Effects
As with every positive thing, there are some negative side effects. one negative effect is that these methods generate less electricity then traditional fossil fuels. Another downside is that most of these forms of electricity are weather dependent and so if the weather doesn't cooperate, that means no power will be produced. As a lesser note, many people that work at plants that produce power with fossil fuel will lose their jobs. Some positives are that it is a healthier for the planet by not putting pollution out. Another reason its better is that it doesn't use fossil fuels, which we may need later.
